Do I need to register to search jobs?
You do not have to register to search Atlanta Job Beat. You will need to register, to see job contact information, to apply for jobs, submit your resume, and create job agents. 

What is my user name/ login name?
Your user name is the valid e-mail address that you used when you registered.

Why must I provide an e-mail address?
Your e-mail address is required so we may contact you when jobs that meet your criteria are posted. Your e-mail address is also the username when you registered.

What if I do not have an e-mail address?
If you do not have an e-mail address, you can still browse our database for career opportunities. If you want a free e-mail address, click here.

What happens if I change my email address?
Log in using your old email and go to My Profile update your profile and click submit.

How should I select a password?
Select a password that you will easily remember. Your password must be at least 4 characters. You may use letters, numbers, or both. Letters are CASE SENSITIVE

What happens if I forget my password?
Click on Forgot Password link, enter your email address and your password will be emailed to you.

A job agent is a tool that automatically notifies you by e-mail of available jobs that match the job search criteria you establish when you set up your  Job Agent. You can have multi Job Agents.

How do I post my resume?

Will I be able to update my resume at any time?
Yes. You can update or delete your resume at any time.

1. Go to the My Resume screen. The screen displays your current resume.
2. Update your resume as necessary.
3. Click on Submit Resume. Then click View Resume to check.

How long does my resume remain on Atlanta Job Beat?
You can delete your resume at any time by clicking on the Delete resume button on the My Resume screen. Atlanta Job Beat will may delete all resumes after 1 year.

Can I post more than one resume?
No. You can only post one resume.

Click on the employer email and type in your question.

How do I apply for a Job?
Follow employer directions in the comments box. To apply online click on the Apply Online button from the View Job Screen and your resume will be forwarded to the employer. ( If you checked the Hide My Contact Information box, your contact information will not be forwarded)

How do I apply online for a position if I do not have a resume?
You can still apply online for a job with a valid user account if you do not have a resume. However, Atlanta Job Beat allows you to build a resume and submit it to the Atlanta Job Beat database. 
To build a resume:

1. Enter your user name and password.
2. Click on My Resume on the main page or on the top of each page..
3. Fill out the appropriate fields.
4. Click on Submit Resume. Click View Resume to check.

No. You can search for jobs without a user account. However, if you want to apply for a job, or see the job contact information you must have a valid user account.
